Yukon


The Yukon Territory called after the river of the same name, lies in the
north-west of Canada. The area amounts to 483'450 km2 and only 30'000
people live here. Around 22'000 people live in the capital Whitehorse.
The Yukon lies between 141° longitude in the west, 60° latitude in the
south and the Mackenzie Mountains form the boundary in the north-east.

In order to imagine the unbelievable distances, you really have to see an
area of such dimensions for yourself. With the direct flight Frankfurt –
Whitehorse or via Vancouver you are quickly in the middle of the adventure
of breath of wilderness.
